Blog Incentive Update

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

I have had a few calls questioning the Shoot for the Stars blog incentive so I have clarified the deadline dates in the document below.  Please note that you DO NEED 3 posts in each category by Feb. 1st and then each month must keep up a pretty good pace, BUT in regards to the rest of the thresholds, they must be done by June 30th.  I think that the form below will make more sense.  Call me if you have questions - 701-265-5200. - Lynette

Many communities expressed interest and assistance with tourism issues in their visions and community plans.  The ND Tourism Department is planning a series of Tourism Congress meetings across the state and one expanded conference will be held in Devils Lake on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.  This conference is from 8 am - 4 pm and will have presentations, panel discussions and one-on-one conversations with ND Tourism officials.  There is no cost to attend and the  Horizons program is one of the many  sponsors of this conference.  Registration is required by March 4, 2008 and the brochure and registration information can be found below:

Nice Work Bloggers

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Nice work North Dakota bloggers - I am so impressed!  What great stories - it is so fantastic to see and read about the wonderful things happening in your communities.  It is inspiring to others and we have a number of individuals and agencies reading these blogs to hear the latest news from North Dakota towns and consider ways they might get involved.  Keep up the great work!
